The 2024-2025 Expanded Learning Program Application Form is now available! Please complete a SEPARATE APPLICATION FOR EACH STUDENT in your household.  The program will serve grades TK-6th in 2024-2025. If you are planning on utilizing this service, please make sure to complete the application by April 30th.

Wednesday, December 20th – 8:30 am / 9:00 am

Transitional Kindergarten Enrollment
Transitional Kindergarten Applications for 2023-2024 start February 21st, 2023

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a stepping stone between preschool and kindergarten. The optional program provides students with an additional year of preparation, so they enter kindergarten with stronger academic, social, and emotional skills needed for future success in school

Apply for Transitional Kindergarten 

To qualify to register for TK, students must be 5 years of age September 2, 2023, through April 2, 2024 and live within the Sacramento City Unified School District boundaries.

To report your student’s absence, please complete this web form or call the office at (916) 395-4790.

Read each option thoroughly and select the reason that best describes your student’s absence. Please note that office staff may call to verify as necessary.

Allow 1-2 school days for attendance to be processed.

THANK YOU for helping your student attend as often as possible in order to stay on track. Attendance MATTERS!

 If you would like to request homework, please email your teacher directly.

Kindergarten Registration for 2023-2024

To be eligible to register for kindergarten for the Fall, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2023.  

Children that turn five years old September 2, 2023 through April 2, 2024, have the opportunity to enroll in one of our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) programs. Information on TK registration will be available later in 2023.
