In addition to receiving standards-based science instruction in the classroom, we also have a science enrichment program called Science Alive, which is funded by the PTA.

Each class participates in this school garden & science lab program 45 minutes per week.  This hands on approach to learning science has a positive impact on our students’ science knowledge and achievement.

In 2012, we earned the highest achievement scores for science in the district, and our students content area knowledge and proficiency continues to exceed expectations. To learn more about this program, please visit the Science Alive website.
