We teach children, not labels, and we work to design and adjust instruction to meet the individual needs of our students both academically and socially. To that end, we are a GATE Cluster school, which allows us flexibility in our instructional approach. All students are assessed for GATE qualification in the first and third grades.

Many of our students are GATE identified, or are high-achievers who are ready to be challenged. Our school believes in access to high quality education for all students, and therefore we offer access to differentiated learning opportunities for all. The curriculum offered at our district GATE schools to GATE students only is the instructional norm for all of our classrooms in grades 2-6.
